This Finance Director leads core reporting and planning activities within a cooperative, highly visible finance team. The work includes OSFI filings, audit support, variance analysis, and management reporting for senior stakeholders. You will partner across accounting, reporting, FP&A;, and project teams while supporting complex IFRS 17 requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Review regulatory filings for accuracy and compliance
Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
Maintain audit-ready documentation and internal controls
Prepare reconciliations,



schedules, and journal entries
Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS 17
Requirements: Knowledge of P&C; insurance financial requirements
Experience supporting internal and external audits
Strong variance analysis and executive communication skills
Background in regulatory reporting, especially OSFI
Leadership experience within a finance function
Use P&C; insurance, technical accounting, and regulatory reporting knowledge to guide financial outcomes in Toronto.
