Position:
Liquor Supervisor
Full-time:
40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability:
Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all customers are greeted in a friendly manner
Provide outstanding customer service and assist in reducing theft and loss
Offer product expertise and guidance
Assist with the management of team members and operate point-of-sale terminals accurately and efficiently
Receive, display, and promote merchandise with proper care and attention.
Perform opening and closing duties with thorough attention to detail
Support the manager in organizing, directing, and coordinating the department to achieve budgeted goals
Ensure compliance with Central Alberta Co-op and AGLC’s policies
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age to sell liquor
High school diploma preferred
Must have valid ProServe certification
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Previous retail experience is an asset
Team player with the ability to work independently
Ability to consecutively lift 50 lbs.
required for unloading pallets
