This Electrical Engineering Technologist role serves Stantec’s Distribution Design team on diverse underground and overhead electrical projects. You will develop solutions, estimates, material lists, and approvals while coordinating customers, landowners, consultants, and third-party stakeholders. Designs must satisfy project requirements, applicable codes, standards, regulations, and safety expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Develop compliant solutions for electrical distribution facilities
Prepare cost estimates and project material lists




Facilitate approval requests with third-party stakeholders
Provide technical guidance to customers and consultants
Identify safety or environmental concerns and initiate action
Requirements: Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma
Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively as a team member
Demonstrated project management skills
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Bring distribution design, technical guidance, project organization, and stakeholder coordination skills to Stantec’s power infrastructure work.
