As a Baker, you will work under the Bakery Manager to prepare items for customer purchase. You will support customer service, bakery administration, production-area maintenance, and employee engagement. The position includes training current staff and following applicable company standards.
Key Responsibilities: Provide friendly customer service meeting customer needs
Perform bakery administration tasks
Prepare baked items for customer purchase
Maintain the bakery production area
Train new bakery staff
Requirements: Basic bakery knowledge
Ability to work independently
High school diploma
Minimum three months of experience
Availability for primarily early shifts
Use bakery knowledge, customer service, and production skills while supporting Sobeys bakery operations and staff training.
