Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools seeks an Educational Assistant for students with intellectual, emotional, behavioural, learning, communication, physical, medical, hearing, or vision needs. The work supports a Christ-centered learning community and requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Candidates should understand diverse learners, including students on the autism spectrum, and support Truth and Reconciliation goals.
Key Responsibilities: Assist students with mild to severe needs
Help implement student Individual Program Plans
Apply positive, proactive behavioural interventions
Model social skills and emotional regulation




Support Google Apps and communication assistive technology
Requirements: Education Assistant Program completion or equivalent post-secondary training
Experience supporting diverse learners on the autism spectrum preferred
Interpersonal skills, flexibility, and interdisciplinary teamwork
Ability to lift and toilet students as required
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, First Aid, or CPR training assets
Bring student support, behavioural intervention, and communication skills to Albert Lacombe School’s diverse learning community.
