15 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 11:00 Am to 2:00 Pm
Salary starts at $26.93/hr. at Step 1 - plus 16% in lieu of benefits

Summary of Duties: Reporting to the Principal/ Designate, the Teacher Assistant-Library is responsible for processing borrowers' requests; assisting staff/ students to locate materials; and a variety of general library duties, using both computerized and manual systems.
Required Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 Graduation




Previous experience in a library dealing with bibliographic data and library computer software
Working knowledge of office procedures and standard office equipment including personal computers and office software
Valuable organizational, interpersonal and communication (oral) skills
Minimum keyboarding speed of 40 wpm
Physical ability to perform the assigned duties
OR an equivalent combination of training and experience
Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Knowledge of School District operations
