Provide person-centered patient support as a Health Care Aide with Southern Health-Santé Sud, assisting daily living activities under nursing leadership.
This Health Care Aide position supports residents and patients according to care plans and established practice standards. You will work under Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse team leaders. The position requires health care experience, effective communication, and respect for confidentiality and cultural diversity.
Key Responsibilities: Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living
Follow care plans and established standards of practice
Work within full Health Care Aide scope of practice




Determine work priorities and methods independently when appropriate
Maintain competency through education and certifications
Requirements: Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program
Minimum Grade 12 education
One to two years health care experience preferred
Current Basic Life Support certification for Acute Care
Ability to communicate effectively and protect confidential information
Support residents and patients through daily care, communication, competency maintenance, and person-centered practice with Southern Health-Santé Sud.
