Run live theatre lights and sound in Calgary as a Mainstage House Technician for Jubilations Dinner Theatre’s evening performances.
This technician role supports five Mainstage shows annually, with training provided for each production. You will execute lighting, sound, microphone, and show-flow cues while sharing performance responsibilities with the current House Tech. The schedule generally runs Wednesday through Sunday evenings, with some Tuesday performances or matinees.
Key Responsibilities: Complete three to five days of show training
Run Mainstage performances and share scheduled dates
Maintain, clean, and coordinate repairs for equipment
Review show materials and refine technical skills
Coordinate equipment needs with the current House Tech
Requirements: Live theatre or live audio experience is beneficial
Experience reading tech scripts and executing cues
Ability to handle pressure and think quickly
Ability to troubleshoot problems and execute solutions
Ability to work unsupervised with attention to detail
