Support children and youth through individual counselling, group sessions, and structured residential care in an agency-operated home. This is an on-site role.
As an In-House Counsellor, you will support clients experiencing difficulties with life at home. You will promote their best interests while supporting safety, health, and overall well-being. The work provides stability through individual counselling and group sessions.
Key Responsibilities: Provide support and care to residential clients
Promote the best interests of children and youth
Support client safety, health, and overall well-being
Provide individual counselling to each client
Provide group sessions with each client
Requirements: Interest in working with children, youth, and life experiences
Knowledge of and lived experience with Indigenous culture
Positive verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Valid driver's licence or willingness to obtain one
Bring counselling, confidentiality, and culturally informed support to children and youth receiving structured residential care.
