Support children and youth in a residential group home through care, structured living, and safety-focused guidance. This position is fully onsite.
The Residential Counsellor provides support and care for boys and girls experiencing difficulties at home. Reporting to the Direct Services Supervisor, this position promotes each child’s best interests, protection, health, and well-being. On-the-job training is provided.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care and support in a residential group home
Promote children’s best interests and protection
Support clients’ safety, health, and well-being
Help provide structured living for children and youth
Travel as required by the position
Requirements: Interest in working with children and youth
Basic verbal and written communication skills
Personal time management abilities
Interest in learning recent skills
Education or experience in social services is an asset
Use your care, communication, and time management skills supporting children and youth in a structured residential setting.
