Install and service propane systems as a Gasfitter A with Avenir Energy, applying mechanical skills across residential and commercial settings. Year 1 and Year 2 apprentices are also considered.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Gasfitter A supports safe, effective propane system installation, maintenance, and service. The work includes propane tanks, appliances, vaporizers, and varied system hook-ups. Strong CSA B149 Gas Code knowledge, communication, and problem-solving skills support customer satisfaction and reliable service.
Key Responsibilities: Install propane tanks, appliances, and vaporizers
Maintain and repair residential and commercial propane systems
Complete safe, accurate propane hook-ups
Order parts and complete work orders
Process invoicing and assist with shop activities
Requirements: Gasfitter A certification required
Year 1 or Year 2 Gasfitter Apprentices considered
Strong understanding of CSA B149 Gas Codes
Minimum Class 5 driver’s license
Strong technical and mechanical skills
Bring propane installation, CSA B149 knowledge, and mechanical problem-solving skills to Avenir Energy’s service team.
