ArcGIS Enterprise specialists can shape spatial data, analysis, and mapping solutions with Stantec’s Environmental Services Geospatial team. This is a full-time role in St. John’s, Canada.
As a Geospatial Specialist, you will support internal and external clients within an Esri Enterprise environment. The work combines ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online or Enterprise, spatial analysis, cartography, data management, and project support. You will report to the East Canada Geospatial Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, transform, maintain, and document spatial data
- Produce maps, visualizations, summaries, and analytical outputs
- Analyze data and resolve technical issues independently
- Develop web maps, dashboards, and mobile field solutions
- Manage geospatial storage, permissions, governance, and archiving
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of related professional GIS experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related professional experience
- Strong knowledge of the Esri ArcGIS system
- Strong cartographic, visualization, and data-management skills
- Ability to make sound technical decisions independently
