Use AutoCAD and Revit to develop mechanical drawings in Edmonton’s building consulting engineering setting. Support HVAC, plumbing, and coordinated building-system documentation.
This Mechanical Drafter role supports commercial, institutional, residential, and healthcare projects. You will prepare layouts, equipment schedules, details, and construction drawing sets. The work spans initial design through construction documentation alongside experienced mechanical engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and revise HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing drawings
Develop accurate construction drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit
Assist with mechanical layouts, schedules, details, and drawing sets
Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, electrical, and other systems




Incorporate engineer and senior designer markups and design changes
Requirements: Experience in mechanical drafting, preferably building consulting engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience considered an asset
Familiarity with HVAC and plumbing systems in commercial or institutional buildings
Ability to interpret technical drawings and markups accurately
Understanding of construction documentation and multidisciplinary coordination
Bring detailed drafting, AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical building-systems knowledge to coordinated Edmonton engineering projects.
