Precision CNC machining leads this full time General Machinist position at Avio Aero, supporting aerospace components across multiple production stages. Work in a self-directed manufacturing area.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this non-exempt position requires three to five years of trade experience. You will perform machining, grinding, gear manufacturing, in-process inspection, assembly, and production support. The work demands blueprint reading, GD&T; interpretation, manual inspection, and compliance with AS9100 standards, customer specifications, safety policies, and Ontario OHSA requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Operate multiple CNC machine platforms and multi-axis equipment
Perform manual, CNC, precision, and gear grinding




Manufacture aerospace components through multiple production stages
Manage machine setups, tool offsets, and tool life
Achieve productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
Requirements: Three to five years of trade work experience
Completion of secondary school
Experience machining Inconel, stainless steel, alloys, and aluminum
Experience with tight tolerances of ±0.0005 inches or better
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
Apply precision machining, inspection, blueprint, and GD&T; skills to aerospace manufacturing at Avio Aero.
