Inspect and repair surface equipment as a certified Industrial Mechanic-Millwright near Timmins, Ontario, on a 5x5x4 schedule.
Discovery’s Porcupine operation requires a Journeyperson Millwright for protected, reliable, efficient surface equipment operations. The work includes pumps, conveyors, crushers, mills, compressors, rock breakers, piping, and hydraulic systems. You will support maintenance across a continuous mining operation.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot surface stationary equipment and mechanical systems
Install, disassemble, and repair operating equipment
Perform predictive and preventive maintenance activities
Follow OHSA, environmental, safety, and sustainability requirements
Assist other work areas when required
Requirements: Certified Industrial Mechanic-Millwright qualification
Knowledge of compressors, pumps, hoisting plants, and conveyance
Knowledge of crushers, mills, agitators, piping, and hydraulic systems
Strong communication, interpersonal, computer, and written skills
Ability to provide personal tools and work independently
