Build AI tooling for Waabi’s autonomous transportation systems using Python, agents, and production software engineering. Work with teams across Waabi’s offices and functions.As a Senior Software Engineer on Waabi’s AI Technical Strike Team, you will build tools, agents, and workflows that improve productivity. Your work will support autonomy code, simulation settings, ML training pipelines, research workflows, and business functions. You will also evaluate emerging AI tools and frameworks.Key Responsibilities:
Design and ship internal tooling, agents, and AI workflowsIntegrate Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and similar toolsEvaluate models, tools, and agent frameworks through structured pilotsPartner with teams to prototype and iterate solutionsTrack AI tooling usage, adoption, cost, and qualityRequirements:
Five-plus years of software engineering experienceExperience shipping tools used by large user basesHands-on AI coding tools and agent experienceProduction experience with AI products, workflows, or LLMsStrong Python and up-to-date build system proficiencyApply senior software engineering judgment to AI agents, developer infrastructure, and productivity tooling at Waabi.
