Reporting to the Director of Care, you will provide nursing and personal care tailored to residents’ physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs. You will collaborate on changing health statuses, create care plans, administer medications, document care, and follow the College of Nurses of Ontario’s qualified requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Provide excellent nursing and personal care
Assess residents and respond to changing needs
Create, develop, and evaluate care plans
Supervise nursing care equipment and procedures
Provide nursing guidance and team education
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
BScN, BN, or equivalent qualification
Knowledge of current geriatric care developments
Ability to prioritize work around resident needs
Compassion for seniors and meaningful resident care
Use geriatric nursing expertise, care planning, supervision, and resident-focused communication to support fulfilling lives at Barnswallow Place.
