Perform mechanical quality inspections in Kincardine using visual inspection expertise, ITP documentation, and Remote Control Center coordination. This fully onsite contract-to-hire position includes vault work.
Actalent seeks a Mechanical QC Inspector to inspect completed work around steam generators and boilers. You will verify codes, specifications, quality requirements, and customer standards while coordinating through cameras and headsets. The work includes documentation, NCR tracking, and inspections involving confined spaces and radiological PPE.
Key Responsibilities: Execute, review, and sign off Inspection and Test Plans
Perform visual inspections around steam generators and boilers
Communicate results with the RCC and vault personnel




Complete inspection documentation and record completed work
Identify and track NCRs and corrective actions
Requirements: Experience in inspection, quality control, and visual inspection
CWB Level 2 certification required for ITP signoff
Nuclear Clearance required
Ability to perform quality inspections and assurance tasks
Comfort entering vaults and confined spaces
Apply mechanical inspection, ITP, and quality control expertise while supporting Actalent projects in Kincardine’s demanding vault setting.
