Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, this supervisor advises principals, managers, and supervisors on employee relations, performance, conduct, legislation, policies, and collective agreements. You will support workplace concerns, conflicts, grievances, investigations, arbitration preparation, bargaining research, and fair application of HR practices. Collaboration includes union representatives, school administrators, HR, Payroll, and Educational Support Services.

Interpret employment terms affecting pay, leave, seniority, and benefits

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline
Five to eight years of progressive HR experience
Collective agreement interpretation and employee relations experience
Robust communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage confidential information and competing priorities
Use employee relations judgment, agreement interpretation, and collaborative communication to support fair, consistent human resources practices.
