Job Summary

Duties
Supervise daily café operations, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning procedures.
Manage and train staff on food handling, safety protocols, POS systems (including Micros POS), and customer service standards.
Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed.
Ensure high-quality food presentation and consistency in cooking and food preparation.
Handle cash transactions accurately and reconcile daily sales reports.
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area in compliance with health regulations.
Develop staff schedules to optimize coverage during peak hours while controlling labor costs.
Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with marketing initiatives to promote the café’s offerings and events.

Skills
Extensive experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality industry roles.
Proven supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or café setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation,



cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Proficiency with POS systems, or similar platforms.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
Effective communication skills including interviewing potential employees and providing constructive feedback.
Knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and restaurant experience is highly desirable.
