As an ENMAX Transmission Engineer, you will support projects from planning and routing through construction, commissioning, and closeout. Your work will include structural analysis, foundation design, overhead system design, and transmission line engineering. You will coordinate consultants, stakeholders, technical experts, and construction teams while maintaining applicable standards, codes, regulations, and public safety.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical guidance across complete transmission project cycles
Produce structural, foundation, and overhead line designs
Analyze survey, LiDAR, structures, conductors, and insulators




Coordinate consultants, design reviews, construction, and commissioning
Review technical deliverables, schedules, risks, and project changes
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering; structural preferred
P.Eng status with APEGA
Five or more years designing transmission lines
Solid proficiency with PLS CADD, Pole, Tower, and Caisson
Valid driver’s license and strong computer skills
