Direct Cenovus’s AI Centre of Excellence, combining enterprise AI literacy, change leadership, and operating-model design to scale capability.
As Director, you will build on Cenovus’s established foundation and lead the next phase of its Hub and Spoke model. The mandate includes enabling business areas, creating reusable delivery approaches, and supporting increasingly self-sufficient AI capabilities. Success requires informed decisions across technology, business value, risk, governance, and adoption.
Key Responsibilities: Enable business areas through common enterprise services and standards
Build communities of practice and reusable delivery approaches
Scale proven AI solutions consistently across Cenovus
Evaluate proposals and challenge AI assumptions




Influence executives and the Board on priorities and outcomes
Requirements: Robust knowledge of AI technologies, vendors, and emerging trends
Working knowledge of responsible AI and risk-based governance
Experience leading complex cross-functional enterprise programs
Demonstrated organizational transformation and adoption leadership
Understanding of data, architecture, cybersecurity, and technology operations
Bring enterprise AI judgment, change leadership, and governance expertise to expand Cenovus’s capabilities through a scalable operating model.
