Adastra seeks a senior-level Lead SAS/Python Developer for large-scale workload migration. You will guide decommissioning, interpret complex SAS programs, and modernize analytical processes. The work spans technical leadership, hands-on development, automation, governance, and collaboration with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities: Lead SAS program, dataset, and process migrations
Develop, test, and maintain Python applications
Build Unix automation and data processing pipelines
Establish coding standards and reusable development patterns
Review designs, identify risks, and guide technical decisions
Requirements: Senior or lead software development experience
Robust Python, Anaconda, SQL, and SAS expertise
Complex SAS modernization and workflow interpretation experience
Linux or Unix scripting and CRON automation experience
Experience with Netezza, Redshift, testing, and performance tuning
Apply SAS migration, Python development, and technical leadership skills to modernization initiatives at Adastra across North America.
