Reporting to the Production Manager, this Head of Department coordinates current scenic elements and creates recent pieces requested by the Director. The position leads three crew members while maintaining production elements throughout the show run. Strong theatre organization, crew planning, and workshop experience support the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate, build, repair, and modify scenic elements
- Lead three crew members and volunteer helpers
- Track department budgets, schedules, paperwork, and project progress




- Maintain protected workshops and production worksites using proper PPE
- Oversee installation, performances, repairs, and annual strike week

Requirements:

- Two years of theatre technology schooling minimum
- Five years of theatre industry experience minimum
- Carpentry, props, paint, design, and crew-running experience
- Microsoft Office and crew scheduling knowledge
- Valid driver’s license and adaptable availability required
