Lead Jewish Federation of Victoria & Vancouver Island in Victoria, using fundraising and community leadership skills in this full time, in-person role.The Executive Director serves as lead strategist, fundraiser, and ambassador for JFVVI. Reporting to Jewish Federation of British Columbia’s Chief Planning Officer, this leader guides a small qualified team and partners with the Board President. The mandate includes strengthening philanthropy, community engagement, grantmaking, governance, and external relationships.Key Responsibilities:

impact-oriented allocations and grantmakingDevelop volunteer leaders and strengthen Board governanceRepresent JFVVI with civic, government, media, and nonprofit partnersRequirements:
Eight to ten years of progressive leadership experienceFundraising success including major gifts at six figuresBoard partnership and volunteer leadership experienceProfessional staff supervision and development experienceBachelor’s degree required;
advanced degree preferredBring Jewish communal leadership, fundraising expertise, and relationship-building strength to JFVVI’s Victoria community mission.
