Lead health and safety programs at Stelumar Advanced Manufacturing Inc., applying machine guarding and LOTO expertise across automated facilities and worksites.
Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, the Manager, Health & Safety oversees safety activities for a multi-site advanced manufacturing start-up. This permanent, full time role builds programs, evaluates risks, investigates incidents, and supports safety standards across manufacturing and construction contexts.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and continuously improve Stelumar’s Health and Safety Program
Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and factory condition monitoring
Investigate incidents, injuries, near misses, and root causes
Implement machine guarding and lockout/tagout programs
Manage safety committees, SDS, WSIB claims,



and return-to-work programs
Requirements: Post-secondary education or equivalent occupational health and safety experience
Five to seven years of progressive health and safety experience
At least two years leading a safety program or team
Advanced manufacturing, automation, robotics, machine guarding, and LOTO experience
Ontario OHS Act and WSIB knowledge with regular GTA travel
Apply health and safety leadership, incident investigation, and robotics safety expertise across Stelumar’s manufacturing and construction operations.
