As Engineering Manager, Voyager, you will lead a team working across the maturity curve, from exploratory spikes to durable infrastructure. You will establish recommendations for Relay’s technology adoption and clarify priorities across platform and research initiatives. The work requires technical credibility, sound judgment, and people leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Lead exploratory initiatives that evaluate and validate emerging technologies
Produce clear recommendations for Relay technology adoption
Balance prototypes with production systems and infrastructure needs
Drive planning, priorities, quality,



timelines, and business goals
Refine sprint planning, reviews, and engineering processes
Requirements: Strong judgment separating useful technology from current noise
Ability to explain technology decisions clearly to leadership
Comfort building from scratch amid complexity and ambiguity
Ability to decide when prototypes need durable implementation
Hands-on production experience with agentic systems
