As Mechanical Design Team Lead, you direct assigned team work under the Mechanical Design Manager. You oversee mechanical designs, 3D models, and drawings for government and naval markets. Your responsibilities span planning, technical quality, mentoring, and delivery against schedule, budget, standards, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise mechanical engineers and CAD designers
Plan, estimate, assign, and schedule team work
Review designs, models, drawings, and GD&T; before release
Resolve or escalate technical and schedule risks
Mentor members and support process improvements
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Seven-plus years in mechanical design
Two-plus years leading teams or serving as technical lead
Advanced SolidWorks and GD&T; knowledge
NATO Secret clearance and controlled goods eligibility
