Parks and Roads Services seeks a mechanically inclined Yard Worker for physically active store and yard operations. You will maintain safe, clean, operational sites while supporting field crews. The work includes inventory, logistics, minor repairs, hazardous waste coordination, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain yards, coordinate waste bins, and organize materials
Troubleshoot and repair small equipment and electrical tools
Operate vehicles and equipment, managing surplus tools
Receive, store,



and coordinate hazardous waste transport
Complete snow removal and assist with grader blade installation
Requirements: Completion of the 10th school grade
Minimum two years’ store and yard operations experience
Solid mechanical aptitude and minor repair ability
Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence and City permit
Current Emergency First Aid, CPR-C, and AED certifications
Bring yard maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and safety awareness to Parks and Roads Services in Edmonton’s operational yards.
