Lead financial reporting at BluMetric’s Ottawa headquarters as Controller, overseeing accounting operations, consolidation, payroll, and internal controls.
Reporting to the Vice President, Director – Finance, this full-time Controller leads day-to-day accounting operations and financial close. The position prepares consolidated statements, manages audits, and supports a team. BluMetric values process improvement, accurate reporting, and effective financial controls across its finance function.
Key Responsibilities: Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements
Lead audit activities and external audit coordination
Oversee payroll, accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger




Drive finance systems, reporting, and process improvements
Requirements: CPA designation in valuable standing
Minimum six years of progressively responsible accounting experience
Experience preparing statements, payroll, reporting, and financial analysis
Leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and developing teams
Advanced Microsoft Office and accounting software proficiency
Bring consolidated reporting, accounting leadership, and financial controls expertise to BluMetric’s Ottawa finance team.
