Deliver long-term care nursing and resident support onsite at Langara in Vancouver, serving Providence Health Care’s multi-site program.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide safe, respectful care under the Resident Care Manager’s guidance. The position supports experienced and newly practicing LPNs across long-term care sites. You will assess residents, administer medications, coordinate care, and support residents, families, and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities: Provide secure nursing care using individualized care plans
Assess residents and communicate concerns with RN or RPN
Administer medications and monitor their effects
Participate in care planning and advocate for residents




Respond to incidents according to established procedures
Requirements: Graduate from a recognized Practical Nursing program
Registered practicing LPN with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
Current basic cardiac life support certification
Knowledge of appropriate cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures
Ability to prioritize, organize, and analyze work
Support long-term care residents through assessment, medication administration, individualized planning, and compassionate interdisciplinary collaboration.
