The Construction Estimator prepares estimates from drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. This position analyzes architectural and structural plans, develops bid proposals, and identifies project risks. Collaboration with sales, design, drafting, project management teams, subcontractors, and suppliers supports complete pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed estimates using drawings, specifications, and estimating software
- Complete material and labour quantity takeoffs
- Analyze architectural and structural plans and technical documents
- Develop bid proposals with timelines and risk assessments




- Coordinate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers

Requirements:

- Construction management, engineering, architecture, or related training
- Residential construction estimating experience, preferably renovation or design-build
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, labour, and building codes
- Proficiency with estimating and material takeoff software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and solid analytical abilities
