GreenTee Richmond is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the cleaning and presentation of our indoor golf and hospitality facility. With golf bays, private suites, member amenities, retail areas, and Crystal Jade Palace restaurant, the centre requires consistent attention to cleanliness and detail throughout the day. Reporting to the General Manager, you will supervise the housekeeping team, establish cleaning schedules, and ensure spaces are clean, stocked, and ready for members and guests. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring solid organization and coordination with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily housekeeping across golf bays, private suites, washrooms, member amenities, common areas, offices, and designated restaurant areas
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff
- Develop cleaning procedures, inspection checklists, and standards for each area of the facility
- Coordinate cleaning between bookings to ensure bays and suites are ready on time
- Conduct regular inspections and address deficiencies promptly
- Establish schedules for deep cleaning, floor care, upholstery cleaning, and other periodic work
- Ensure appropriate products and methods are used on marble, glass, metal finishes, furnishings, and other specialty surfaces
- Coordinate with golf operations and technical staff to clean around simulators and sensitive equipment safely
- Oversee cleaning and replenishment of member amenities, including sauna areas.
- Manage towels, linens, laundry arrangements, and housekeeping supplies
- Monitor inventory, place approved orders, and control supply usage and labour costs




- Train staff in safe chemical handling, equipment use, and workplace safety procedures
- Report maintenance concerns, damaged furnishings, and safety hazards, and follow up on outstanding issues
- Manage lost-and-found procedures and respond promptly to guest requests involving housekeeping
- Coordinate waste removal, recycling, and external cleaning services as required Qualifications and Skills
- Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience, preferably in a hotel, private club, or comparable hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, products, and surface care
- Experience training teams, preparing schedules, and inspecting work
- High attention to detail and consistent standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Ability to organize work around guest activity and changing operational priorities
- Knowledge of WHMIS and safe chemical handling
- Professional communication skills and discretion when working in occupied guest areas
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including extended periods of standing and moving supplies
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Compensation:
- Competitive compensation base salary of $55,000-$65,000 based on experience
- 10 days annual paid holiday and up to 5 sick days
