Full-time Pay: $22.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications About the Position NT Painting & Decoration Inc. is seeking an experienced Professional Painter to join our team in Winnipeg. We specialize in residential and commercial painting, drywall finishing, renovations, and restoration projects. We are looking for a skilled painter with a minimum of 3 years of professional painting experience who can independently prepare surfaces, apply coatings, and deliver high-quality finishes while meeting project timelines and safety standards. This is an experienced painter position, not an entry-level or general labourer role.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces through sanding, scraping, filling, patching, caulking, priming, and masking.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Complete interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial properties.
- Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trims, baseboards, and other architectural surfaces.
- Identify and correct surface imperfections to achieve consistent, professional finishes.
- Protect surrounding surfaces, fixtures, flooring, and furniture during painting.
- Follow work orders, project specifications, and supervisor instructions.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
- Complete assigned painting work independently or as part of a team. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional residential and/or commercial painting experience.
- Demonstrated experience with surface preparation, priming, cutting-in, rolling, and finish painting.




- Experience operating brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, and other professional painting equipment.
- Ability to produce clean, consistent finishes with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of painting materials, application techniques, and workplace safety.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to jobsites.
- Basic professional painting hand tools.
- Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada. Additional Experience Considered an Asset
- Drywall patching, repairs, or finishing.
- Restoration and renovation projects.
- Wallpaper installation or removal.
- Specialized spray finishing.
- Experience working on occupied residential or commercial properties.
