Operate snowplow trucks and heavy equipment with Ledcor Highways Ltd. in Fox Creek, Alberta, supporting winter highway maintenance and safety.
This winter seasonal operator position runs from October 1 through April 30. You will maintain Alberta Provincial Highways using highway trucks and heavy equipment, while assisting with labourer duties. Shift work, on-call availability, and night shifts are required as weather patterns change.
Key Responsibilities: Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and heavy equipment
Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways throughout the year
Assist with crack sealing and pothole repairs
Clean bridges and signage while remediating hazards
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Requirements: Hold a valid Class 1 or 3 licence with air endorsement
Provide a explicit three-year driver's abstract
Complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Lift up to 50 pounds during physically demanding tasks
