Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced supervisor to lead our construction projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial steel construction and be a variety of different steel construction projects. As a supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supervising teams, managing resources, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. Work is primarily in-town but potential candidates will be required to work out of town for wide-ranging amounts of time for certain jobs. Duties
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of ironworkers and welders, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide the construction process accurately.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that work meets project specifications.
- Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Train new team members on safety protocols and operational procedures.



Experience
- Journeyman certification in either ironworking or welding.
- Familiarity with safety processes and procedures in the steel industry.
- Ability to recognize issues requiring RFI or management input.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a willingness to provide encouragement or discipline to employees as needed. Job Type
s: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract Pay: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
