We are seeking an enthusiastic, personable, and dedicated Prep Cook / Counter Worker to join our team. This position is split approximately 50/50 between customer service and food preparation. At the counter, you will greet customers, take orders, weigh, wrap, and price products, handle cash transactions, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Behind the scenes, you will prepare, tray, and label products while following proper food safety and sanitation practices. Depending on the location, you may work independently at a small booth or supervise a team of up to three people. Responsibilities
- Provide friendly customer service, answer questions, and accommodate special requests.
- Weigh, wrap, and price products accurately and process cash transactions.
- Prepare, tray, and label products according to established procedures.
- Operate a gas oven, stovetop, and five-rack convection oven.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Restock supplies and work collaboratively with team members.
- Run a small booth independently or supervise up to three staff members.
- Occasionally transport staff between locations using a personal or company vehicle. Personal vehicle use will be compensated. Qualifications




- Previous food industry experience preferred.
- Experience using a gas oven, stovetop, and five-rack convection oven is an asset.
- Friendly demeanour, strong customer service skills, and excellent communication skills.
- Basic math skills and accurate cash handling are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety and food handling practices is an asset.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Valid Ontario G or G2 driver's licence required. Availability and Scheduling Mandatory availability: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Applicants must be available all four days. Scheduling: Shift times may vary depending on location and operational needs. Specific schedules will be discussed during the hiring process. Pay: From $20.00 per hour
