Kumon Math and Reading Centre Surrey (Clayton) Join Our Team and Make a Difference in Children's Learning Are you passionate about education and enjoy working with children? Are you a college or university student considering a future career in teaching or education? We are looking for enthusiastic, patient, and reliable individuals to join our team as Kumon Learning Assistants and Early Learner Assistants. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in children's education, develop valuable teaching and communication skills, and grow professionally in a supportive learning setting. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
● Assist children with Math and Reading worksheets using the Kumon Method. ● Work with young learners to develop good study habits, confidence, and independent learning skills. ● Grade students' worksheets and record their progress. ● Provide encouragement and guidance while helping students work independently. ● Communicate student progress and observations to the Instructor. ● Prepare learning materials and maintain an organized classroom. ● Perform basic computer tasks and other classroom support duties as needed. Qualifications and Requirements ● Currently enrolled in, or graduated from, a college or university program. ● Strong mathematics skills and a solid understanding of Math concepts. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



● Patient, friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic about working with children. ● Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly. ● Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. The following are considered assets ● Previous tutoring, teaching, or child education experience. ● Previous experience as a Kumon student or employment at a Kumon centre. ● An interest in pursuing a career in teaching, education, or child development.
