Responsibilities:
* Prepare hot and cold beverages made to order by our guests Support sustainability goals to reduce waste and energy consumption and encourage employee and guest engagement Serve café style meals and ring in orders through our point-of-sale systemMaintain a clean and inviting eating area by bussing dishes and wiping down counters and tables Able to open and close the summit lodge efficiently and effectively alone Train and supervise lodge baristas and cashiers to ensure they have the skills required to provide an excellent customer experience Restock and rotate condiments, and coolers,



ensuring the food and beverages look appealing and are well presented Promote sustainability by following recycling and composting proceduresRegularly interact with Gondola guests in a positive and engaging manner Assist Front of House team members in POS troubleshooting Manage the daily communications board and cover meal breaks to ensure a consistent customer service flow Create and promote fun Gondi Team events and challenges to boost moralUtilises Microsoft 365 tools (including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other authorised systems) and approved AI technologies to support collaboration, communication, and work efficiency. Applies critical thinking and professional judgement to all AI-assisted work; outputs are reviewed, validated, and not relied upon as the sole basis for decisions.
Adheres to company policies, data privacy requirements, and security standards when using digital tools and AI. Remains fully accountable for the accuracy, appropriateness, and security of all work outputs. Drives measurable improvements in sustainable F&B; operations by reducing food waste, improving portion/inventory controls, and reinforcing responsible packaging and disposal practices. Ensures teams understand and follow sustainable practices during service, events, and daily production.




Provides guidance and oversight on the appropriate use of digital tools and AI within the team, ensuring alignment with company standards and expectations. Applies independent judgement to all AI-assisted analysis and reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate and appropriate for operational or financial decisions. Experience:
* Serving it Right Certificate is mandatoryMust be at least 19 years of age Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with Guests Previous leadership experience in a food service position is an asset Ability to work independently and multitask various orders from GuestsPOS (point of sale) experience is an asset Food Safe level 1 is an asset Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve under pressure The ability to remain calm yet fast paced under stressful and high-volume situations Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash Mature, friendly, and well-groomed Criminal Record Check required Staff Accommodation may be available, with shared and single rooms, in newly constructed houses and apartments.
