We are looking for true team players who can work beyond their specialty to help the team deliver. Every team member is responsible for the quality of the product and should be willing to work on any tasks needed, be it front-end, back end, test automation, deployment automation, etc. The successful candidate will use their experience and talent to help drive the delivery of the system, introduce new tech and guide the evolution of our applications.Your RoleYou will be responsible for all team activities such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint RetrospectiveLead development of entire applicationHave strong technical skills to come up with system designsPerform peer reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s workResponsible for code integration and code deployment of existing modules as well as provide new pipelines for new modules (CI/CD)Have strong background in AWS services and practices.Be responsible for delivery of entire project from all perspectives. This includes, development, testing, devops,



support and architecture designBreak-down complex functionalities into granular tasks and storiesStay current on emerging technologies and be able to match them to Citco need when requiredQualificationsAbout YouYou must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent8+ years of experience with software engineering3+ years of experience with NodeJS + Typescript3+ years of experience with React2+ years of experience in team leadership role2+ years of experience developing and deploying application to run on AWS infrastructure2+ years of experience working with various AWS services. Must have strong understanding of multiple AWS services and how to deploy/monitor them.Strong skills developing server-side applications using Node.Js frameworks such as or similar to NestJS/HonoSolid understanding of HTML5, ES6, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworksExperience with source code management such as GITStrong skills with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL)Experience working with Agile teamsSolid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoringMust be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.Knowledge of financial industry, specially accounting / general ledger will be preferred.Salary Range: CAD $135,000 to CAD $175,000This posting is for an existing vacancy.Our BenefitsYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
