We are an interior design and construction company specializing in commercial and residential projects. We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and motivated Interior Design Assistant with a robust design sense to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the lead designer with interior design concepts, 3D modeling, and rendering.
Independently conduct on-site measurements and prepare high-quality construction drawings.
Assist with design presentations, graphic layouts, portfolio development, and marketing materials.
Support the lead designer with daily design tasks and project coordination.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant interior design work experience in Canada (Required).
Language: Must be able to understand spoken Mandarin Chinese for daily work communication (Required).
Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (Required). Experience with 3ds Max is a strong asset.
Technical Skills:
Ability to independently conduct site measurements and produce professional, high-quality construction drawings.
Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with Canadian construction materials, methods, and practices.
Design Skills: Strong aesthetic sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
Communication: Ability to quickly understand design concepts and efficiently translate ideas into drawings and visual presentations.
Personality: Outgoing, proactive, responsible, and a strong team player.
Bonus Skills: Experience in graphic design, layout design, and marketing materials is an asset.
Important: This is an on-site position in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Applicants must have at least 3 years of relevant Canadian interior design experience and be able to understand spoken Mandarin Chinese.
