Lead wardrobe construction for Alberta Theatre Projects in Calgary, coordinating schedules, budgets, fittings, and live production requirements. This is seasonal full-time work.
The Interim Head of Wardrobe supports Alberta Theatre Projects’ 2021-22 season of contemporary theatre. The position coordinates wardrobe activities, translates designer plans for the stage, manages shop personnel, and supports safe production operations. Work begins October 12, 2021, and concludes in late January, with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate wardrobe construction schedules and assigned budgets
Translate designer plans into stage-ready wardrobe requirements
Schedule fittings and establish rehearsal requirements with stage management




Manage the wardrobe shop and related personnel
Track expenditures, purchase materials, and produce crew paperwork
Requirements: Three-plus years’ skilled theatrical work experience
Management experience preferred for this position
Detailed knowledge of wardrobe construction
Knowledge of Health and Safety compliance
Valid driver’s license and excellent interpersonal skills
Bring wardrobe construction leadership, budgeting, and theatre knowledge to Alberta Theatre Projects’ Martha Cohen Theatre productions.
