Provide complex continuing care at Carewest’s Garrison Green location as a temporary part time Health Care Aide. Support residents through attentive daily care.
This Health Care Aide reports to the Director of Care within an interprofessional health care team. The position observes, monitors, and reports client condition changes. It also delivers prescribed medications accurately while following Carewest policies, procedures, and skilled standards.
Key Responsibilities: Provide ongoing care to clients in complex continuing care
Observe and monitor physical and emotional client status
Report client condition changes to registered nursing staff
Deliver prescribed medications accurately according to policy
Complete related duties as required
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program graduation
Active and current registration with CLHA
Effective English reading, writing, and communication skills
Physical ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients frequently
Bring regulated care, medication delivery, and client monitoring skills to Carewest’s complex continuing care team in Calgary.
