SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspections, repairs, and other routine building maintenance activities.

Daily execution of maintenance services and tasks;

Minor electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and masonry maintenance tasks

Lawn care, snow removal, and remediation as needed;





Assistance in correcting defects noted by internal inspections and external contractors;

Sign-in/sign-out and escorting of external contractors in accordance with Skyservice safety policies

Assistance in issuing, returning, and maintaining security access key cards;Review, monitoring, and verification of fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, waste tanks, and other areas according to daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections;

Routine management of relations and communications between departments, tenants, and owners.

Inspection of buildings and other structures to ensure system functionality and to determine defects, safety, fire prevention, and health/safety issues, troubleshooting and necessary repairs, by making observations and recommendations following established procedures and using a periodic checklist;

Maintaining an organized management system for records, parts, tools, and safety equipment;

TRAINING AND SKILLS:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education considered an asset

At least 2 to 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance and record-keeping preferred;

Valid driver's license

Restricted Area Identity Card issued by local airport authorities considered an asset;





Intermediate understanding of electrical, plumbing, paving, HVAC systems preferred;

Experience with various hand and power tools necessary;

Light and medium equipment operator experience preferred;

Safety and customer service-oriented;

Ability to make objective, fair, and consistent assessments;

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

Ability to work a flexible and on-call schedule as needed;
