Job Summary Adapt Properties owns and manages a portfolio of industrial buildings in the Calgary area. We are launching a multi-year capital improvement program focused on modernizing the exterior of our properties. Over the next couple of years, we plan to reface the siding on 15 buildings and reroof 10 buildings. We are looking for a skilled, reliable installer to work exclusively on these projects. The Experienced Roofing & Siding Installer installs and repairs roofing and siding while following project plans and safe work practices. This hands-on role involves preparing materials, using tools, and completing exterior work with care and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace roofing and siding materials according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Measure and prepare work areas, select and use hand tools, and complete carpentry, caulking, and finishing tasks.
- Lift and position materials safely, maintain an orderly work area, and coordinate work progress with colleagues.
- Inspect completed work, address installation issues, and help ensure exterior surfaces are secure and weather-resistant. Requirements Required: Practical ability to use hand tools, perform carpentry and caulking, read blueprints, and handle heavy lifting safely while completing roofing and siding tasks. Construction experience supports effective preparation, installation, and repair work. Preferred: Related handyman experience and familiarity with varied exterior projects are valuable strengths.
