Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and passionate Childcare Centre Director to lead the operations of a newly established childcare centre in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, provide leadership to educators, ensure compliance with Saskatchewan childcare regulations, and promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily centre operations, including staffing, scheduling, enrolment, and administration.
- Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan childcare licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and staff-to-child ratios.
- Recruit, supervise, mentor, and support early childhood educators.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality, play-based, child-centred educational programs.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners.
- Maintain accurate records, policies, and licensing documentation.
- Collaborate with the centre owner on operational planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement.
- Promote a positive, professional, and inclusive workplace culture. Qualifications and Requirements
- Saskatchewan ECE Level III certification preferred.




- Must meet applicable Saskatchewan childcare centre director qualification requirements.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a licensed childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of Saskatchewan childcare regulations and early childhood development.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience with play-based or Reggio Emilia-inspired learning is an asset.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it.
- Satisfactory criminal record check, including vulnerable sector check.
