Job Roles
- Conduct inspections, toolbox talks and hazard assessments
- Assist with incident paperwork & investigation of incidents
- Assist with maintaining safety records and scheduling of safety training
- Monitor PPE Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Participate in JHSC meetings
- Weekly safety updates to health and safety manager
- Year End Audit
- Additional duties as required Qualifications
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management
- Organizational skills to manage safety documentation, inspections, and training schedules
- Ability to assess workplace safety and identify potential risks or hazards
- Familiarity with safety and health-related regulations applicable to construction or manufacturing
- CERTIFICATION such as WHMIS or Occupational Health and Safety certifications is preferred
