Overview The Tutor In-home, office, online supports learners through tutoring and teaching in the setting that best suits their learning needs. You will explain concepts clearly, adapt your approach to each learner, and help build understanding and confidence through focused instruction. Duties
- Plan and deliver tutoring sessions in home, office, or online settings, guided by learners’ goals and progress.
- Explain subject material, answer questions, and use clear communication to check understanding and encourage participation.
- Adapt teaching methods and activities to learners’ needs, and share relevant progress updates with families or colleagues.
- Maintain an organized, supportive learning workplace and prepare materials for each session. Skills Required: Clear communication, teaching,



and tutoring capabilities are essential for explaining concepts, adapting instruction, and supporting learner progress. Preferred: Experience working with children and classroom experience are valuable strengths that can help you engage learners and apply effective teaching approaches. Pay: $18.25-$30.64 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
