Overview The Educational Assistant supports teaching and learning by helping students participate in classroom activities, understand instructions, and build confidence. The role works alongside educators to create an inclusive, supportive workplace and adapt assistance to students’ needs. Duties
- Support teaching activities, including classroom learning in math and early childhood education, under educator guidance.
- Help students follow instructions, participate in routines, and engage with learning materials.
- Provide respectful assistance to children and individuals with disabilities, including in special education settings.
- Communicate observations and relevant updates to educators to support consistent classroom assistance. Requirements Required: Clear communication, patience,



and the ability to follow educator guidance, support learning activities, and interact respectfully with children and individuals with disabilities. Preferred: Classroom experience, teaching experience, and experience working with children or individuals with disabilities; familiarity with special education, American Sign Language, math, or early childhood education is an advantage.
