Northvale is an established company with over 35 years of experience developing and manufacturing paper products, stationery, toys, and consumer goods. We are currently looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team in Markham. This role will support our Sales and Product Development teams in creating product designs, packaging artwork, presentations, marketing materials, and other creative content across a variety of product categories. We are looking for someone who is creative, professional, organized, and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate is a robust team player who enjoys collaborating with others, but is also comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned projects. This is a great opportunity for a junior designer looking to gain hands-on experience across graphic design, product development, packaging, and marketing, while learning and growing within an established company.

What You'll Do
- Create and develop product designs, packaging artwork, and other graphic materials
- Assist Sales Managers with designs, presentations, and marketing content
- Develop creative concepts both independently and collaboratively
- Prepare and revise artwork based on customer and internal feedback
- Work with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Manage multiple projects while meeting timelines and deadlines
- Prepare accurate, organized, and production-ready artwork
- Communicate and present design ideas in a professional manner
- Collaborate effectively with Sales Managers and other team members
- Take ownership of assigned projects and work independently when required




- Work across a variety of product categories, including stationery, paper products, toys, and consumer goods Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Comfortable working in a Mac environment
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, and design principles
- Strong visual sense and interest in current graphic and product design trends
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organized and able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Professional, dependable, and responsible when meeting deadlines and following through on assigned work
- Strong team player with good communication and collaboration skills
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions
- Creative, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Experience or interest in packaging, product development, stationery, toys, or consumer goods is an asset Position Details
